Tempo and BPM

everytime i try to timestretch my samples i have problems.... i believe its due to the tempo i set ( i dont no how to do it correctly) can someone help me????

Try using software, Soundforge for Example. Set the Tempo then when importing sample into the MPC set the Tempo to the settings used when timestretching.

If you using the MPC and the sample stops BEFORE looping, adjust the tempo until it loops perfectly. This is all I have.

Try being more specific with the questions. Example: When I timestretch in Soundforge and load the sample on the mpc, it doesn't loop correctly. Could this be a problem with tempo/bpm?

yes try the method of setting the loop points in the mpc of your sample. Try using drums first that will be easier 4 you. Of course you'll be in trim mode. so set the loop feature to on and get it to where it loops perfect. Now I have JJ OS 4.72 so if you have this this is what you do. go to edit then timestretch and it will ask for auto or manual choose manual and select the number of beats 1-8 most likely and then hit do it. If you can count beats then you better learn fast. (KICK)1...(Snare)2...(KICK)3...(Snare)4.........and then back to 1. Boom--bap--Boom--bap. Hope this helps.
