problem wit 2000xl and motif rack

i having a problem hearing the motif rack sounds being controlled by mpc thru midi...i have midi in of the rack to midi out of the mpc and midi in of the mpc to midi out of the rack...im trying to listen from headphones connected to the mpc cuz my speakers are not working...someones please help me

wuzup my dude,

you need the outputs (audio) from Motif and audio outs from MPC to a mixer to hear sounds.
MIDI is not AUDIO. ONly the device from midi has audio.

since my speaker aint workin ..i hook up my headphones to the mixer not to the mpc right?

midi is not audio. midi is data. headphones to mixer.
mpc and motif audio to mixer.

I did jus that and i still dont hear nutin from the mixer..is there something i have to change in the rack
