JUST BOUGHT AN MPC 1000

wah gwan mpc-forums, i just grabbed an mpc 1000 and im completely clueless. along with this machine i have a edirol pcr-30 midi keyboard and stanton str8-80 tables w/ stanton smx-251 mixer.

i opened the box up and i wanted to play around with it and then i realized i didnt put in the speakers. i havnt grabbed monitors yet but i have some nice temp. speakers. can someone explain to me how to plug this in and how to hook up the tables and all that

First you need to get some proper spelling, second you need to purchase a pair of Midi Headphones to get sound from the MPC 1000. Look into that then hit us back.

Try this:
Midi Keyboard Out -> Midi In Mpc
Mpc Main Out -> Mixer Line In
Turntables -> Mixer Phono Ins
Mixer Record Out -> Mpc In
Mixer Main Out -> Amp/Speakers

like I mean jeesh, who DOESNT have a good pair of midi headphones, was the first things I copped for the lab...

Must get good sound quality with some midi headphones...

its gonna take time son...when i got mine about 7 months ago...i was pissed cus i thought id be makin beats the day i got it...nope...practice and over time ull get..
