I've seen so many interesting auctions at ebay.com saying that. Why won't a seller ship outside the US? You're still getting paid, so what's the deal?

Some annecdotes from my own experience if any one is interested:

I have had a few of PCD-15's over the years. ( first one courtesy of another well respected list member )

They work well in MPC2000XL's and the very first one I received has been installed in one of these ever since.

Some of the other PCD-15's I found over the years worked when using high performance CF cards with MPC3000 machines that had OS 3.11-3.16 installed. As expected, they bombed/failed when used with lesser grade CF cards.

Certain other ( later model PCD-15's ) only worked in MPC3000 machines upgraded with Vailixi and in "single sector transfer mode". They also appeared to have a preference for high performance CF cards.

Seems the PCD15 changed over the years.

I have not tried the PCD15 with a SCSI equipped MPC60 so can't comment on that one.

What ever you choose to attempt using a PCD-15 with, good luck.

Rohan.

I got the Microtech -47B in my 2KXL. Works flawlessly. Like having 3 hard drives.
Thats a cheap price... for now! I've seen the -47B's go for $100 easily on Ebay. Just 2 years ago I got mine for $28.

It will more than likely sell for between $100-125 but they can't verify if it works.
SCSIfor SAMPLERS sells the 47B for $125 with a 30-day return policy, so after a certain $$$ point this auction becomes an unnecessary risk.
