Soundclick let's you see how many plays you've gotten each day in their profile, just not on thier page.If you sign up for a vip for like $10 a month it show its on your page.Myspace is better at getting contacts and networking imo.Alot of people seem to have went to myspace.I have both and just link my soundclick on my myspace page.So people can hear more songs if they want.

there's got to be a way to put more than 4 songs on myspace, you probably have to pay for it or something, but I've def. seen pages with way more than 4 songs.

Soundclick Account:
pros:
- better Sound Quality
- you can upload tons of tracks
- you can sell them there too
- your tracks can appear in playing charts >> creates buzz, if you force it

cons:
- interface and handling is not so cool

Myspace Music Account:
pros:
- It's just hip to have a myspace spot ;)
- Social Networking aspect big
- You can make a name for yourself if youre good
- Simple Handling, highly customizable

cons:
- Only 4 upload slots in free account, pro account has more
- the social networkink concept doesnt really work well
- Punk mofos funkin up yur comment section with their ads

Resumee:
If you say you get money to do it, I would register an URL and buy webspace and design a page with you/he have full control over. Or get a blog and combine it with webspace and a flash mp3 player.

You can defineatly have much more than 4 songs on your page, it's just not though the myspace player. You have to use a 3rd party one.

In my experience, myspace has been much better for actually networking with people and i have actually been able to get connections to major artists though it (although nothing has happened because of it as of now). On the contrary, soundclick is much better for selling cheap beats. So it depends on the goal. I really don't see soundclick as a place to really get your music out on any professional level, although some people have had major things happen from SC. Myspace is going to be much better for that.

I think both are great but if i could only do one, it would be myspace right now. I don't know how much longer that will be the case because it seems that myspace isn't the place it used to be.

That is true. As soon as everybody heard of the success stories of people like Lily Allen, everyone created a Music page and tried adding anyone they could find as a friend. So, yes, the chances of breaking out of the bunch to become another "myspace" success story is slimmer now than before.
