Wireless headphones with laptop and the 1k?

I've destroyed another pair of headphones. Does anyone use, or know of a good pair of wireless headphones that would be compatable w/ a Vaio laptop and the Mpc1000?

I guess I thought the wireless phones were more popular.

well.... if you only have an mpc and a laptop close to you, the wireless phones might work, but when you are surrounded by racks of electronic equipment, the electromagnetic field degrades the sound quality alot.
Also, I can't think of a good quality wireless headphones. Most of the "good" brands are always making wired headphones.
Anyways, your mpc is pluged to the wall, your laptop probably too, and you have a wire from the mpc to the laptop, so one extra wire (from mpc to your head) won't hurt you, and it will give you much better results.

There was a guy at the store bitching about how his didn't work so well. The employee said that the wireless phones don't work so well w/ lots of metal structures in your area. I was like, that's all of Manhattan then. I picked up a decent pair of sonys w/ a cord and will wait on the wireless.

Get a pair of wired headphones that are designed to take some abuse. My current set of Technics DJ1200's have lasted me more than two years...Sennheiser HD25's are supposed to be pretty robust as well and have user replaceable parts.

Sennheiser also do wireless headphones if you're still set on getting a pair of those...but like effekt says the sound uality will always be better with wired.

Edit: just re-read your post and saw that you picked up a pair of Sony's. Treat em well and they should last a while too..

right. i just break sh*t w/out trying. i have a small place, so wireless would be ideal. I'm thinking I'll eventually get one of the nicer pairs of
Sennheisers you mentioned.

I had them for a while, they are heavyduty headphones.
I have to worn you though: If you plan to use your headphones for an extensive period of time, it might be bad for your ears! I'm serious, you should better invest in some mid-range monitors. Unless you have other constraints.
