Is the 2kxl worth $750+ maxed out?

I'm asking because I've been searching EBAY high and low for a mpc2kxl...I had a 2500 for a short while in the past but had to return it because of financial ish. Cant afford the 2500 again even though I would love to have it and I refuse to go mpc 1k because of potential pad problems and it just doesnt feel the same. So I decided to give the 2kxl a look and every time I see them they are $750 or more maxed out...is this a good price or should I wait til I can find one for about $600 or so?

by "maxed out", do you mean they have both the effect board and the 8 outs, and 32MB ram? if so, then YES, $750 is a good deal.

By maxed out I mean just the 8 outs and 32mb ram.

yes good deal...

if it only has the 8 outs and 32MB ram, then it's only an OK deal. You surely can get a better deal, but $750 is not bad, try to talk the seller down a little if you can.
