Getting beats on my computer

I got a mpc 2000xl and a lexicon alpha and cubase LE & i want to get the beats on my computer??? How do i do it??

If you just wanna record your beat on one track:

- audio outs of mpc to audio in of soundcard
- open cubase
- check the levels
- press record in cubase
- play your song on the mpc

If you wanna record each track separately, I suggest midi syncing the mpc with cubase.

Just wondering if you thought about how going about this and tried something before you posted this question...Did ya?
