MPC500 spontaneously recording while browsing samples?

Has anyone had this happen?

I'm going through a bunch of fresh samples today and previewing them by hitting the play button. A few times I would hear the metronome clicks and realize that it was recording.

This only happens to me if I press the 'overdub' button by excident while audioning samples in load mode!

This happens because I rest my hand on the bottom/right of the MPC500 when loading samples, my wrist presses the record/overdub button and when I press play to hear the sample I'm loading, the metronome starts.

I guess this isn't really a bug, just us pressing the record button while loading samples.

It's actualy a feature because you can playback your sequence while auditioning samples to load (in load mode). But then again, recording in load mode isn't very usefull.

Yeah, I had this happen alot.

yeah, this happnes to me too, but i think its like what snerg said its just cuase were pushin the record or overdub button while browsilng samples, and i just push stop before 4 clicks anyway.
