asr-10 and mpc2000xl

im playing my basslines on the asr-10 but how can i make the notes poly. i changed it on the mpc but the asr is still playing the notes poly. whats the deal!

maybe its a setting in the asr.

if it is does anyone know what i need to do

i dont know about that piece of equipment, but do you know if there is something similar to the poly/mono/note off feature on the mpc? thats probably what you gotta do. be patient though, there are peeps on this site with asr10s and i know someone will help you

So you have the sounds on the MPC and you are using the ASR keys to trigger them?

yo, sorry man i didnt know what u were talking about. u wanna play the key so as long as u hold it thats how long it plays right? if so than go to edit/envelope3, now scroll over till it says envelope mode. urs should say "envelope mode=finish" , but change it to say envelope mode=normal. and u should be set. peace

thats for an asr sound. this baseline is a mpc sound that is being played on the asr keys. so the asr is the midi keyboard. there has to be a setting to make the notes coming from the mpc mono on the asr.

yea then u would have to use the mpc settings than. cuz u are using the asr as a mpc midi controller. i do it the other way around. go to the params screen and switch it to mono on ur asr.

i use the mpc for its sequencer, dont you?

shift/program/drum/params/ where it says poly change to mono.

i knew that i thought u meant change it to mono in the asr.
