Now I want something around the 800-1300 range. I've heard JUNO G is good, but I want the big name workstation (Motif, Fantom, Triton). The ones i like are the Fantom XA, Triton Tr 61, MO6, Motif 6, Motif ES6. Now I know the TR61 needs a sampling board upgrade and the MO6 can not sample. This is correct yes? My question is when they say no sampling does that mean I can't load sounds and map across the keybed? Can i do that without sampling, If so I know which board to get. Oh and what would you recommend to a first time buyer? I'm going to be producing jazz/ambient/rap instrumentals. I've never used a workstation. I will also be using a midi axiom 49 for computer along with the korg padkontrol. I want separate boards for everything cuz you get bored sometimes making beats on the computer and you get sidetracked due to places like mpc-forums
. So what do you guys recommend. Oh the price cannot be more than 1300 I'm 14 and I'm using stock money so I need to buy a computer also which will set me back 1500 with all necessities (software,cables,media,etc.). What are the differences between the motif 6, mo6, motif es 6, and the motif sx6 (WTF!!!)?
