upgrade from 2000 to 2000xl worth it?

i think the topic says it all...
i do know if i upgrade to the 2000xl i will lose the data wheel of the 2000 but the features im gaining be worth the upgrade?

Do your homework and find out the features, see if it's worth it to you, no one can tell you that but you.

it sure is worth it. plus the data wheel on the xl ain't that bad. there was a recent post about that, so go search for that to get more people's opinions

I would,but it won't give you that many more features imo and if you don't have to it's really not worth it. It is nice have bootable rom instead of needing a floppy or zip.With that being said the 2k data wheels better imo.As lamp said though read both manuals and decide for yourself.

Not too many features as far as I'm concerned with.I'm content with the 3k and 2k classic features,but some might not be.Just my opinion.

I personally would do it for: Folder Support, Zoning (to keep me more organized), the ability to add a MCD without having to modify the inside, etc

its all up to what you think would benefit you and your workflow

just copped a 2000xl off ebay, gonna take my outs and fx card from my 2000 and put them in there, and finally have my internal mcd, FOLDER SUPPORT < cant wait, and other shit i been looking foward to. woohoo
