Oh, I like it. I mainly use it for the verbs and delays live. I have an alesis Midiverb which I prefer the sound of but you can't beat the kaoss pads for hands on stuff

I Just recieved my first MPC 60 II. To tell you the truth I have been waiting to purchase one for some time now. Honestly. There is no bad MPC- But If I had the choice. MPC 60 or 3000 for sure.
Just wanted to share the wealth. I've already made some good progress with the unit. As only a Crate Diggin' MC would.
Just wanna say that's It's Down By Law. Cats sellin' thier units and upgrading, NO. The 60 is a tough cookie to get around, Fighting for sample time, and so on. But as far as the sound generation, I have no clue what I'm up against. ( Refering to any other MPC module ) But .. I know that I made the perfect decision.
Roger Linn is a genious, and now we ROCK.
One . :D

Any of you get the chance to try out your 60 or 3000 before you bought it? I want to try a 60 first before I shell out like the $600 dollars. I got a 2000XL arriving tuesday or wednesday and I already got a 2000 that ima be selling locally for around $550, but I would really like a 60II next to the 2000XL lol. I like MPCs. lol

I had a chance to try it out before buying it. The guy said the floppy disk didn't work but he had sampled some sounds into it so I could try it out. Seemed nothing wrong with it apart from the usual wear of a few buttons.

Turned out the floppy wasn't even connected. I'm still trying to get the floppy drive fixed but apart from that the unit seems in very good condition.
