The facts.

With 32 MEGABYTES or RAM installed in an MPC3000.

An MPC3000 installed with an OS that is less than/lower than version 3.16 == 327.6 seconds for STEREO / 163.8 seconds for MONO ( higher than this sample times will show but malfunction )

An MPC3000 installed with an OS version 3.16 or higher == 378.6 seconds for STEREO / 189.3 seconds for MONO. ( the full memory can be used )

Thanks,

Rohan.

You shure it's not the other way around, most sec's with mono, half the time with stereo?

Ahhh... yeah, typo order. ( silly me )

Should have wrote:

In the fist instance:

327.6 seconds for MONO / 163.8 seconds for STEREO ( higher than this sample times will show but malfunction )

and in the second instance:

378.6 seconds for MONO / 189.3 seconds for STEREO. ( the full memory can be used )

Thanks to those who noticed :-)

Rohan.

I think it should be around 3 mins in stereo and 6 in mono.

I have 128 mb in the 1000 ans 128mb makes around 10 mins in stereo and 23 in mono. So it must be the same.
