Midi questions

I just got the Triton Le to compliment my mp1G
and I can't seem to get the triton keys to play when when there connected
(the keys only read djhip kit)

can someone please help!?

do you have a mixer so the audio outs of the mpc and triton can be heard simultaneously?

Using MIDI with the MPC can be simple or complex, depending on your setup. I'm trying to put together a FAQ that includes this stuff - link below - but it assumes you know basic MIDI principles.

If you have wired the Triton MIDI OUT to the MPC's MIDI IN, you should get sound out of the MPC, so it must be wired up to mixer or 'phones. The drum kits are all in the bottom octave of the keyboard.

If you're going to have the Triton wired up to the MPC for recording, you need to think about MIDI Thru as in the manual and the FAQ, you don't want confusion over sounds and what's triggering what...
