MPC 1000 or MPC2000XL

Can someone tell me which one is worth it...I have the MPC1000 and i was thinkin about switchin to the 2000XL...is that more of an upgrade or no? Any opinions?

in the end it doesnt even matter, because it depends on what you want

the 1000 has more in its little body, but that doesnt necessarily mean u need that stuff.

search 1000 + 2000xl, im sure you will find 8000+ on the exact same topic

mpc 2000xl is CLASSIC so i would get it but if you want an upgrade get the mv8000 they are dirt cheap and have cdrw, hdd built in, vga output, and tons of new technological advances

2000XL is a classier machine, in terms of look/feel. It is easy and simple, has better pads, but the 1k has more features and CF card/ HDD.

In al honesty, even though I own an MPC 1k, it seems like I see more hot tracks coming from people that have 2kxl's rather than the 1k, but this is for a variety of reasons (1k is cheaper so more unskilled people are apt to buy one, people that still use a 2k tend to have been making beats for a lot longer and thus make better beats, and other reasons), so just because you use one doesn't guarentee you will automatically be good, you feel me?
