If i buy drums off the internet once i downoad them i do i transfer them to my mpc 1000 so they will be on my fcompact flash card, and can i make like a snare folder, a kickdrum folder, hi hat folder, a folder for completed beats etc. on the compact flash card so i can be organized. and do the same rules apply if i sample and chop up drums. plz help i'm tryin to make sure the mpc 1000 is a good investment

if you plan on buying drums you are not really taking advantage of the investment the MPC represent (IMHO). Indeed the MPC is a sampler, meaning you can actually SAMPLE your own drums, instead of buying them. Just connect an audio source to the MPC ins and sample stuff.

This said, you can put the samples you buy on the CF card and load them in the sampler - the way you organise youself is really a matter of taste, for instance I would not make a snare folder, a kick folder etc, since I use sliced breaks and I keep all the hits from teh same break in the same folder.

To put stuff on the CF card, either yoiu connect the PC to teh MPC with a USB cable and move the samples to teh CF that way, you can also buy a CF reader (most modern day computers have that as a standard now...) and copy stuff on the CF card that way.
