Using the MPC 1000 and the Virus

Hi...

I have a Virus Rack XL and I can't get the Multi mode to work. When I choose 'As Track' in the Soft thru I just get midi notes to play on channel 1A.

Then if I choose 'Omni-A' it will play the entire Multi (all voices) no matter what channel I select.

It doesn't matter if I select Multi or Multi-Single Mode... I still have the same problem. I just want to play single patches with each midi channel.

Has anyone had the same problem getting the two to work together?

Ooops... I figured it out...

some of my parts weren't enabled, or split to wrong keyboard sections..

Now that's what we like to hear - problems being solved!

I personally stick to "As Track" for Thru, it means you have to get the MIDI settings right before you play or record to sequencer, but avoids confusion, esecially since I use a keyboard synth with Local Off.
