MPC 2000 PRGm Problems

i recently bought the 2500 and i'm trying to load the prgm from my
2000 but on some of the pads the sounds are clipping or kinda muted
sounding please help?!!

yeah i think the format is slightly different. but never owning a 2000 cant be sure. there have been other posts about this im sure.

But what you can do I think is;

get a program called bluebox (PC) there is mac program - different name
then import your AKP(?) file in to it
and then you can save it as a proper PGM
try loading that one up to the 2500.

I keep hearing about tis program but im on pc and mac were is the site for it ? googles could not find it!

if you load a prg made with the mpc 2000 then check if the envelopes start point is correct (sometimes is changes to "start" while you want it to be "end")
and that will sound like muted...
also check if the mpc2500 got the levels of the program correct in the mixer page.
the same applies to programs coming from mpc 60 or 3000.
