I have a 12-input Behringer, very happy with it, but Mackie may be cheaper in the USA. A Mackie fan will tell you that Behringers are ripped-off Mackie designs made in China by slave labour..!

Go for a Mackie, mate.
It´s made for the Mpc, it even compresses the Sound a bit and has Mic-preamplification.
Choose a 12-Channelmixer. I´ve got exactly this setup (MPC, Synths and Mackie) for the last seven years with lots of live playing, and i never had any problems with my mixer!

can someone explain in some detail on how to setup

MPC1000 + mixer + synth(keyboard) + com interface?

Basically Jang6 you will have to do some research to understand how to setup a good system that works for you and your equipment. The best way to sync an MPC with a synth and/or PC is by using MIDI. This means that when you press play, all of your devices start playing at the same time and are synced. This is probably the biggest step for a setup like that...To sync your MPC with a PC you will need a MIDI enabled interface/soundcard for it. Once you have that going its just a matter of running the sounds you are outputting from the MPC/Synth/PC through the mixer and into your mixdown device (ie, computer interface, ADAT, 4-track, Tape machine ect....).
