Synth Headz... What Would U Get???

One of my boys is gettting rid of all his hardware and going digital.
He's got a Roland Juno 6, 60 and a 106 synth he is selling and told
me I get first pick of the group for 200 pounds!!!!!
The other 2 he's selling to a collector for an outragous price.
Which is the better of the 3???

What series is it?

Juno-6 & Juno-60 (for the sake of the argument, I assume the synthesizers are from the juno series) doesn't have midi by default.

So are you chosing between a juno-6, a juno-60 and a juno-106 (never seen a juno-160)?

If so then the answer is ... juno-106!

At 200 pounds the juno-6 isnt even much of a deal (Ive seen them, and passed on them for $250 which is what, 125 pounds?)

Juno 60 has the same engine as the 106 butr no midi. If you use a midi production center, you probably want midi, so by process of elimination...

GET THE 106 !

it is the most advanced of those 3, and has the midi in/out, plus the sound banks are programable. 106 has everything that 6 and 60 have, plus more. I bougt mine 106 last year, I paid alot (450$), but it was in top shape. I really don't regret having it.

I've never used a 106, but I hear they're dope. I think Nottz uses one of them jammies for basslines. I'm thinkin about coppin a 106 or a MicroKorg in the semi-near future .

I have a juno 6 and was wishin it were a 106...its basically the most versitile synth ever...However i hear the juno 6 has more overall punch to its sound...if your not worried about midi or patch memory and are a sick keyboard player the 6 may be the way to go..if not definately the 106

The 6 and the 60 sound better than the 106, but not by much. You lose the arpeggiator on the 106 but you get primitive midi.

I'd go for the 106, but 200 sterling ain't a deal, but it isn't robbery either.

Out of the choice of those three, I'd get the 106.

Definitely get the 106. It's a classic, classic piece of gear and 200 (sterling, I'm guessing) is a good deal.
