Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

I love it.

I don't think I could live with this as my main sampler or sequencer, but its perfect to get down ideas, then stick it in the pc as audio. It souds great and looks great.
The main downside is that I got a carry case that looks like a handbag so I look like a gaylord when I carry it around.

LOL @ "gaylord".
Let's hope jahrome's gaydar still aint on.
I think he searches for the word "gay" and then quickly joins the topic proclaiming his gayness.

But anyway, I've seen some topics in this forum about cases for the 500.
Some people have used a DVD case, which looks like something you'd carry a bomb in and it fits nice with some custom foam.
They won't be calling you "gaylord" for long. You'll look like more of a terrorist instead.
But seriously, you shouldn't have any problems at the airport or anything.
After all, it's just a DVD case with an MPC inside.

Look, here's what you gotta do. Instead of carrying the MPC500 in a handbag, strap it to your chest. I'm serious. Also throw on a big black helmet and black cape. Then they won't be calling you Gay Lord anymore, they'll be calling you Lord Vader.
