Loading Samples

How come my drums always play as "note on" samples rather than "one shot's" when im previewing them in the load screen, no matter what i press. I thought jj was supposed to make play start trigger them like one shot samples, it seems to work with lonng samples, but 90% of the time im auditioning drums anyways.

yeah, i would like one shot preview, too! holding down the pad sucks, and as you can push stop to stop a long sample in preview, it would be no disadvantage.

I would like this implemented too!

I guess it would be nice, I just was never really bothered by it much

plus implementing it would probably cause problems for when you go to loop those sounds in trim mode, as loops only operate as note-on

i have a small lead paperweight which i use for this purpose.
