i suppose i've got to improvise more and get to know artists cos theres definetly not much of a chance in finding polish jazz or rare funk in a northern UK charity shop. I think i have been sleeping on the Last a bit there!
ahh man im sure theres plenty of sh!t in ur local charity shops.. i hit the charity shops in some wack areas and find some real gems, its just about learnin ur sh!t and comin up on knowlege, u gonna find breaks in the least likly records but u'll start to know which ones once u got some more experience behind u (not saying ur inexperienced, but the more u dig the more u gonna find sh!t ud never thought u would have found on certain sh!t etc) hope that makes sense to u. And coppin wack records is all part of it, its just as much education as comin up on dope records... but seriously u never know... some of the wackest records i own contain some of the most amazing 20 sec lil bits hidden in there.. just takes patience, alot of diggin and alot of listenin.
Now when i hit up spots every time i come away with some real dope sh!t, just gets better everytime, even shops i cleared out the last time i was in there etc, never hurts to ask the shop keeper if they got anymore in the back which aint on the shelfs either, especially in charity shops (some times they have sh!t loads and just alternate whats on shelfs).

last week i made like the dopest **** with some crappy 80's record from david bowie by chopping samples in between the song and reversing them individually.. then added 1 guitar note from a mark knopfler record and put that into 16 level for some extra stuff in the beat..
btw c0mplex, the g is a nice beat, it looks like its inspired by premo.. but it's cool! the other one didn't work..
Thanks man.. ahh 19607 not work? did any of the others on the soundclick?
If u got probs with soundclick then try
www.myspace.com/c0mplexphoneticistproductions
Beat 19607 is on there too
Peace
EDIT: Oh and jnorth let me add dont limit urself to funk and soul type sh!t (which alot of peeps startin diggin usually do), u gonna find the most amazin sh!t on latin records, exotica, soundtracks / scores, reggae, rock, folk, country and western (yes u can actually get some dope breaks on those records, alot of peeps browse past disco thinkin it gonna be some cheesy sh!t but some of my best records are disco ones... just sound pure dope 90's style premo / pete rock type sh!t before even chopped.. yeah u get some cheesy disco as well. But just go with it and take the chance when u dig.. especially in charity shops not like it costs much £1 a record etc.. just get some big stacks each time and spend the time goin through sh!t at home.
Plus theres alot of dope breaks ud over look and maybe not even hear until u get to a certain standard with ur beats and diggin where ud then start hearin ways to work sh!t or even blatent loops u didnt catch before hand... with sh!t startin to sound hiphop as time goes on (if that makes sense), then u start to hear and realize some real dope sh!t u been over lookin, i know for a couple years i did real bad.
Anyway i gone into essay mode so gonna leave it here, Jnorth if im ever up north in the near future i'll let u know im curious to check the spots out u dig at, see what hidden gems there are
