I don't know if this was caught before, but direct record tracks ignore pitch settings.

1. Start Mpc and Load or Record sample (preferably long)
2. Go to trim mode (mode+pad6)
3. Select loaded or recorded sample and press Window button
4. In sample list, cursor right once and change pitch
5. Go to track 61-64
6. Assign loaded or recorded sample to this track
7. (bug) press play or play start and sample will play back at original pitch, not the one specified in the sample list.

sounds like one of the 'wrong file' problem. sometimes there is one bad sample but the mpc stops and doesn't load the following samples as well.
try loading the entire folder, this works for me.

ok THANK YOU commander robot!
i could recreate the samples but not my added direct record tracks and the basslines.. i prolly coulda read that somewhere but.. oh well its like a refresher fer the freshies.

loading the whole folder works sweet.

I got the same problem as le rat.

When I load: prog. directory full (24 max.)
Whatever does that mean?
Using 3.06 but thinking of going back to 2 now.

Regardless of the error message, everything seems to be loaded though? Just don't like a messy os like this.

Lol... wow man... this thread is a year old... this thread was about BETA 17 which came waaaaaaay before JJ OS 3.06. Nice flashback though.
