MPC 1000 - PC question. help.

I am very new here, and equally as new to my mpc. This is a general question and even a general answer or direction would help a lot. I need to know how to transfer files from software programs to the mpc 1000. I have a compaq presario pc, USB cable that plugs into the mpc, retractable USB connector, 128 MB Akai sound card. As far as the programs i wish to transfer files from are fairly generic (Acid,Hip hop tools,Tha worx) This is everything i have to work w/. Iv'e been researching this question for a few days and am at a plataeu and cant find anyone to really break it down for me. Any help or advise would be honestly appreciated.

First off you have to have correctly formatted wav files. If you already have the samples/sounds in the correct format ( I forgot the exact specs, but I use soundforge and save my samples as wavs from there) just connect the mpc to your pc. Then press mode pad2, usb on the mpc. Now the pc will recognize the mpc as an external storage device and you can simply drop the sounds to the mpc.

How can you place tracks made with the mpc to the pc (example: I followed the instructions and have the mpc connected to the pc and am able to drop samples to the mpc but I have fl studio 7 open and would like to know can they work with each other as far as putting tracks together.
