Why Cant i Play across da board with my mpc?

u kno how u can play da keyboard across as ( C-C#-D-D#) y cant i do thast with my MPC 1k, i kno u can go to note n restart it but my shit bugged out i want it to play ( C-C#-D-D#) as (PAD 1,PAD2,PAD3,PAD4) or do i have to manualy change it in program?? plzzz say i dont have toooo lol thanks for the time

LOL, I must confess I did not understand much either... Perhaps the question ought to be rephrased properly in order to get some responses... just my opinion.

you've got to use an autochromatic program, so the notes on the pads will be layered in a chromatic way...
keep this autochromatic program empty, so you'll can use it for midi triggering... :wink:

if you have the jj os you can apply the auto chromatic assignments like the guy above me suggested. but if ur like me still using the akai os then ya ull have to setup each pad chromatically and each pad set to the notes that they are set to. me i masterd using 16levels this way i dont use up all the pads for one sound.. good luck though hope u and many other stick to the akai os to help fix it some. report them bugs :)
