On the 1000 the pad sens screen looks like this:

Why does it look so crappy on the 2500? That 1000 version is help full and better on the eyes.

Tell me.

ive been wondering the same thing about the qlink assignment page....looks geat in akai os and you dont even need to select which qlink you want to assign, you just tweak the desired controller and then pick what you want it to control, but in jj it looks like crap

but in my book jj will never be truly at fault for anything when it comes right down to it, so nevermind

just a personal preference, but i like the jj os qlink screen better. it's easier for me to be sure of which qlink i'm messing with.

i don't even remember the akai qlink screen. can someone make a screenshot and upload the bmp?

edit: hah oh wait, you can't create screenshots with the akai os
edit 2: ask and you shall receive. however, i think the fancy pad sensitivity screen you see was kind of a consolation prize for sh!tty akai 1k pads, as well as an aid to those who wanted to modify their 1k pad structure (myself and a few others who tried their hands). it doesn't do anything different, really - it shows you a "VELOCITY" bar and a "CURRENT PRESSURE" bar.

useful, yes. critical, no - not when you have bangin' interlink FSRs like you folks do.

Like ALL units that have the MPC name...minus one.
