Is there a way to assign a track to one of the 8 outputs? For instance; I have two basslines on track 1 & 2 that use the same sample and I want to use outputs 1&2 so that I can use my DAW to put the song together.
One output would play one bassline and the second would play the other. I could then mute what I don't want in the DAW vs. creating a whole song in the MPC.

you can't assign tracks to outputs, only pads.

just use two different pads with the same sample. play one pad on one track, and the other pad for the second track. you can then route each individual pad to a different output.

That's what I thought. Kinda sucks for me though. I'm tracking with a client that used the same program for the same bassline but there are six different parts so six tracks using the same samples. He doesnt want to write the songs on the MPC cause the verses are not worked out. He has a 2 bar beat with all the basslines on diffrent tracks and wants to track them all out and just mute the parts he wants gone in the DAW.
Thanks MF for the reply

copy the program. assign 1 to 1 out, another to another out...
