Hey I'm new to the 3000 (came from a 2000xl) the only problem I've had with the 3000 so far is the way it records midi. I have a MotifES playing an arpeggio at 105bpm its basically a synth pulse repeating itself. I am controlling the arp from the keyboard and recording via midi into the MPC.

What happens is the arp will record fine as long as I'm only hitting one key at a time, but when I'm using multiple keys pressed down at the same time it doesn't seem to be able to handle the multiple notes and usually spews out something that didn't sound like the arp I recorded at all.

I've tried recording it 100 times thinking the 3000 is just more touchy with timing but I wasn't able to get it once...it always ending up after looping around sounding like some other stuff. This is something I could do in the 2000xl first time no problem, so I'm hoping that this is just a setting I have looked over. Anyone have any idea's or ran into this before?

so your problem is the note polyphony? i mean i don't really understand what the problem is. you're using the arpeggiator or you're actually playing the whole arpeggio?

If I sound a little confused on the problem its because I am. I'm just using the arpeggiator and when I play the polyphone notes it sounds nothing like how it sounded when I originally recorded.
