linking pads

how do you link your pads/samples together? I chopped a sample, and i have 2 pads that i want to play right after eachother, the thing is, it's VERY hard to get the second sample to play exactly on the dot after the first one because of the way i chopped it. Is there a way to like "merge" them together to get them to play back to back by just hitting one pad?

chop it into a bigger piece?

Sample the output then play the two pads as you'd like them to be recorded. You could then edit out any marginal error...

if you need accuracy & control that the mpc doesn't provide just bring the two pieces onto your computer via usb, join them with a sample editor, & then save the new combined sample back onto the mpc.
