Just a couple of things a noticed today, not sure how long its been this way in the JJOS:
When you hold a pad down in the Program screeen and use the data wheel to scroll through the samples, each sample plays at each increment of the data wheel. Hard to explain, but try it out. With a good choice of samples to load, you could record some real cool glitch-type sounds with this. Also when you turn the data wheel all the way to the right and reach the last sample it quickly repeats, similar to setting a very short loop time.
Another interesting sound that could be sample is using the ring modulator. Hold down the play button and use the data wheel to scroll from the lowest to highest/ highest to lowest wave frequency setting. Could be used for a cool electronic sounding build up.
