Now that I am getting the hang of this incredible machine. How do you guys files your sounds. I have the the internal hard drive with JJ OS v4...

Do you sort according to sound banks that have Kick, snare, HH, and the like in one folder?

exp. Kicks, HH, snare, percussion are in one folder with samples that use you may use often.

Or do you have all HH together, all kicks together ect? Braoken up into folders of 64 sounds each. Even if having to create multiple folders like Kick1, Kick2, Kick3 and so on?

Here is one that has got me stumped. I am sampling but cannot find the time stretch to get the sample to fit with the beat of the beat with the sample. Any direction would be great.

as for filing sounds ,i never bother ,i have a kit that i autoload, but its only for playin around with,i try to dig up new samples for each new track i do....timestretch is in the bit where you trim samples ...press edit and then scoll about until timestrech comes up...after that its black magic

i have a samples folder that looks like the following inside:

/808kix
/808snr
/808perc
/Perc1
/Perc2
/chopSNR
/chopBRK
/funkSNR
/funkPERC
/crashes
/Vox
/SFX1
/SFX2
/SFX3
/Toms
/Toms2
/WorldPerc
/MissionVox

all my programs are these... so some programs only have 16 or so sounds. but they're categorized, so i know where everything is and i dont have to jump around looking for my perfect hi hat or anything
