the 2kxl is kinda ass. sorry 2k owners. the features aere there but they all need heavy tweaking to get right. the effects and filter on the 2k arte weak and the 3k sound is alot nicer imo than the 2k. youre looking for your answer on the 60/3000 forum, you know what ill say, get the 3000.

no, it's not a good idea especially if you don't care about eq and filters and since you're bouncing to protools, it won't matter. Digital is digital, i don't get why people are comparing the sounds between the 3000 and the 2000.

go with the 3k. u will lose some functionality thats not on the 2kxl, but the 3k is much more durable.

who gives a ****, the mpc 3000 will not make you dilla or dre

there's a lot of 3k hype right now and I can't figure out where it's coming from, it's always been dope, that's nothing new

just make a choice and make music
