I was wondering was a 20 gb harddrive big enough to handle a lot of pressure or do I need to go bigger than that?

I bought a 40G and I am constantly saving redundant drum files in new folders accidentally, and I will never need a new hard drive honestly. the mpc life will probably last less time than it will take me to fill it up.

So basically 20 is just about the same for me saving stuff?

You've got 128 megabytes inside your MPC and a 20 gig HD usually has about 19 1/2 gigabytes available storage. That means that a 20 gig HD can hold over 150 FULL memory loads. Factor in the USB interface and you're looking at basically unlimited storage.

So yeah, 20 gigs is plenty big enough.
