If you don't want the GangStarr ones be a bit more specific bro, there's loads out there but if you have a few in mind i'd start by asking for them first.

the dope thing about premo is he doesnt sample those $200 records everyone tries to find. he's pretty original about his sampling and doesnt take much to find the records he samples. i know i have a ton. he's sampled like 5 msfb songs. i can't stand diggers that only try to find records that someone else has done so they can sample the same f*cking sh!t. be original and sample something no one else would mess with.....thats whats gonna separate you from others

Yo Blaze, the guys just asking for titles, he aint said he's gonna sample em, even if he does then it aint no bad thing. Premo uses loads of originals but he uses many repeats too but he aint dissed for using a sample thats been covered before, listen to Jazzy Jeff's new stuff... I aint gonna slam the brother cos I heard the breaks before, he's got some mad tunes so more power and they rock in my car

let the brother do what he wants, same as you or I

I see what ur all saying but im not trying to copy anyone, im just interested to know. In if i find a sample from an artist that someone else has used then yeah ill use it! I dont really see the problem. At the end of the day if ur not alowed to take inspiration from others then the whole sampling genre would be **** cause all it is is stealing other peoples music!

I see what ur saying though, i just like to know about artists i listen too/admire.

Dusty fingers compilations (and alot of others.. soulman mixtapes, kon and amir tapes.. etc etc) have contributed alot, has put alot of heads onto diggin (ones that would have otherwise really over looked it and not understood it fully) and the world of breaks, showed them real diggin and what kind of sh!t u can expect to find, has done alot of good which in my opinion out weighs the bad of lettin onto certain things peeps have used etc etc..

Plenty of peeps who make beats but not up on diggin or peeps who didnt even have a clue bout some of the breaks and type of breaks out there i put onto dusty fingers, kon and amir and the likes and it really opened a whole new world for them... gave them alot of inspiration to get diggin properly and step theyre diggin game up, peeps who are now real good diggers and find alot of dope original breaks and sh!t.

Soulstarr, i'll get lookin for u in a min and list some things.. but bare with me just got back from diggin and gonna have a listenin session

but in the same sense, i know plenty of really dope producers who aren't hardcore diggers

it aint about what you got, it's about how you use it
there are still great producers who don't have to sample all the time
i know cats who thrift store dig and can flip a carpenters or 5th dimension and it be ten times hotter than a wack dude using a james mason break

just do what works for you ya know
