Ok, I got a lot of sound installed on my machine. Now I want to load some, But how many sound sets can I load? Is there a limit?

Should I never load the "auto load" folder?

Thanks for the help.

I believe you can load 64 programs, 99 sequences, and you can load as many sounds as your memory permits. So either 16 or 128 mgs worth. And yes, I would turn off the internal autolaod folder and make your own autoload folder with your own stuff in it.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Hereo,

I stopped my AutoLoad folder from loading. I love how the machine reacts now without anything to load.

Heres one for ya.

When I get the Q-Links to ask as my 'swing' & 'shift', the MPC will not keeps its settings when I turn the machine off, is this normal or am I missing something?

Thanks again for the help.

you could get all your settings set up, then save that as a project without any programs or samples loaded, and then make that the Autoload and it should load up all your settings automatically (I think)

Hey thanks D,

But that didn't work. no biggie!

By the way, I have been looking to personalize my splash screen, could you point me in a direction? I keep searching with different tags but come up short.

Thanks again.

yeah my bad. I kind of just assumed that it would work, but found out in another thread that it actually doesn't
