Idea: OS selection

i think itd be quite good since JJ can only have the OS a certain size (960kb) if he made different versions of the OS with different features.

i.e. #1 may be how it is just now

#2 may be say the ring modulation sacrificed for an increase elsewhere or some other trim option

etc etc

ya dig?

so that depending on what we're doing at the time we can get the full advantages

If anything, I think the feature set needs to be fixed. We need solid documentation and lots of small graphic bugs cleaned up. Then focus on reliability and JJ OS stops at a stable version.

Beyond that, you can optionally try a work in progress new feature set if firmware space permits. But there is always the stable JJ OS for getting work done.

if it was possible to change the limit for OS by means of soft or hard ware then i think thatd boost things for us

i think you're asking for more bugs and compatability issues

then i certainly hope that JJ is a warrior undeterred by such adversaries
