No, I'm right.

It happens on smaller samples like hats, snares, kicks, percussion. It works fine on larger samples. Except the ping pong loop indicator...that stays not working completely right no matter what.

Also when you have "loop on" on a sample the ping pong loop indicator still shows that it is activated when it in fact isn't and you have to move the cursor over to it turn the jog wheel to actually activate it. When you turn loop on the ping pong loop icon should indicate that it is inactive until you actually do scroll over and activate the feature. Understand?

And loading up samples that should be short one shots like snares, hats, kicks are defaulting to loop on. That isn't right.

And I did go and re-update just to make sure.

I put this in the other bug one but thought you'd like to know again.

1.Press mode Pad 15 "Grid Edit"
2. Press "Over dub"
3. Record any sequence, enter some notes.
4. Press Stop
5. Press Undo Seq = BUG Pads will not play any sounds!!!.
6. Press Undo Seq again = Sounds will play.

is someone else unhappy with the new look? i don't see any reason in changing the trim-design. the waveform has less space and (what bugs me the most) i have to push twice to change the scale of the velocity axis, plus if i push up twice and want to set the start point, i have to push down before doing so...

I'm not too fond of it either.

At first, I was. There are two sides of it: in normal trim mode, magnifying along the volume axis sucks for the reasons you mentioned above. But in Slice mode it works perfectly, because the cursor doesn't jump between the lines.
Also, jumping forth and back between start- and end points of regions has become quicker, because the region field is skipped. In the old screen you had to click through this field before you reached start or end, which I found very annoying. Now, jumping back and forth beween start and end only takes one click each, which I think is an improvement. The only thing I miss is the large display of the waveform. But in the end, we all (should) rely on our ears when we cut samples, so it's not a big issue I guess.

just reported this "workflow bug"

nym again. just installed 4.76 and have this workflow bug to report.

picture the scenario.

1- record phrase sample
2- enter trim mode
3- adjust start point.
4- hit UP to zoom in: NOTE: new trim screen requires user to hit UP cursor 2 times to zoom in/out.
5- hit the RIGHT cursor to navigate to END
6- hit UP to zoom in: NOTE: must hit UP 2 times.
7- return to END parameter. NOTE: to return to END parameter, you must hit DOWN and then RIGHT. simply hitting DOWN takes you to START.

workflow bug: zooming with the UP and DOWN keys is not as fast - especially when user edits the END point. problem: UP moves cursor from ST/END point to SAMPLE param before zooming vertically.

ALSO NOTE: when on START param, hitting LEFT also moves cursor to SAMPLE param. why both START and LEFT? maybe just LEFT instead of START? this would allow for faster zooming with the UP and DOWN keys.

i hope this workflow bug is understandable.

have a good day
