sup,
are u running mac osx?with ak.sys osx?
are u running os1.51 in ur mpc?

did u read the readme file?

Installation

Double click "akSysOSX.dmg" file to create "akSysOSX" disk immage.
Drag the 'akSys OSX' folder into your 'Applications' folder.
Note: Please install akSys in boot drive of your Mac.

If you use Classic mode when akSys OS X is running, double click
"ClassicNotSeizeDriver.pkg" to install it in boot drive.
"ClassicNotSeizeDriver.kext" will be installed in System/Library/Extensions folder.
After installing this file, akSys V2.53 won't run on Classic mode.
Also current OS Loader won't run on Classic mode.

If you do not use Classic mode, this installation is not necessary.

i cant think of anything else that could be causing it on osx ,
if ur running os9 make sure ur running ak.sys 2.53 and drag the "usb ak.sys 4000 driver" into ur extensions folder and restart......

hope this helps?

sup, no problem

sorry i ment to say try reinstaling ak.sys 2.5.3 and restart . then drag the " ak.sys lib" driver(is in the aksys folder) into ur extensions folder(system folder>extensions) and restart......although is mine worked from the install restart without doing this on os9.2.2 but it could be this i dunno.
if dat dont work go to the> apple menu> control pannel>extension manager and move down the list to check the usb extensions are enabled . although bare in mind changes dont take affect till restart in the extension manager....

good luck
