How Do I Make The Sound Instantly Stop When I Release

How Do I Make The Sound Instantly Stop.... When Releasing From A Pad....instead of hitting a 808 kik and the sound plays the whole Wav. I kno when you turn the poly off it doesn't distort but it still plays the whole Wav instead of stopping afta i hit the pad....

For Example: The Longer I Hold The Pad down the longer the WAV will Travel out?

The lesser i hold the pad the less it will go on....

but in reason it has this effect when i put the Decay/Gain up on my drums?
any idea how i can do the same for my 1k

Change sample from One-shot to Note-on...To change I think it's program edit >Select sample> then Window...

yeah its in mode+pad 1 slider and i had it on note on but i changed it to real time/cut off is that what it is?

actually its not working for me is it possible that i can make it do that on the 1k can ur mpc do that cus i want mine to istant stop like it is in MODE+PAD 6 TRIM
