whenever i hear cuts on a record, i hear some one saying for intsance "thats hot" and i hear the scratching going from thats to hot and then back to thats and cutting into that a little and then playing hot again,
so they scratch the first part for instance then play the whole sample then i hear them cutting the first part again perfectly on cue every time. how do they do that?
i dont know if that made too much sense, but what i am askning is how do people do this, how do they que the record to the exact place where the sample their taking starts? i just bought a numark tt500 and a numark dxm pro and ive been scartching a little bit on it, but it really doesnt work that well, i have no experience, so when i scratch a sound, and i want togo back to the begenning of the sound and scratch it more it seems im always off becuase i just "backspin" or reverse the record with my hand and when i let go its not at the begenning of the sample.
and theres no "loop" button on my turntable, is there a loop button on any of them? im pretty sure there is on some cd players. but i see a cue button on my mixer but i dont really know how to use all of the stuff on there yet.
im trying to use this for cuts in songs i make and not djing, if thats any help.
any input would be aprecciated. thanks.
