Looking to buy

Hello folks, I've had a 60II and 3000 in the past. I always used the MIDI soft thru to prevent feedback into my synth/controller. I see the 500 doesn't have one. Has anyone experienced problems because of this? I mean it just doesn't make sense. Obviously they only expect you to use this unit self-contained.

Question 2: You can use tracks for loops and tracks linear simulatneosly, yes, like the older MPCs?
