solo

Ive been really getting into live sequencing on the mpc rather than using song mode to sequence my beats, I usually mess with the solo button on the main page and it really helps if i want to do some sick transitions... my problem is that i have to switch back and forth really fast on the "Track Mute" page to mute some tracks while im sequencing... I noticed on the "Track Mute" page that there was a solo button, I tried pressing it but it wouldnt do anything... is there any way that the solo button would work if im on the "Track Mute" page ? this would really help alot!!! Thanks

Yeah, when you hold it down press the pad that you want solo'd and it will solo it. Then when you want the solo to stop the solo. That's the understanding I have of it right now. That works for me.
