OK,
Ive only had my 25K a mere 3 months and Im at risk of jinxin it now but, Ive never had a problem with it not 1! I was just wonderin has anyone on here not upgraded there OS and not experianced bugs, crashes faults etc? It seems the people who complain about there OS/MPC bugs are only those who have upgraded at some stage or those using JJ imo.

Yeah man. I did. And the midi questions.........I dont use any midi with it. I see no point i just direct record then chop if necessary. I may try using midi (as I have a midi keyborad) but for now I have no real reason to use it. So have you had a good experiance with digi village? I have bought alot of gear from there and they have great service and they seem cool. You from south town too?

yeah good service in there. brought a fair bit of gear from them - just got event tr6's - such a big difference. i can listen for hours without getting ringing /vibrating ears.
im just up the rd mucker, oxfordish.

you prob wont run it to any probs with the midi issues simply by using an ext controller. its like if you are mtc (not midi clock) syncing up to cubase or someink, the mtc goes outta sync.

you know, back in the days the JJOS was about the bugs that akai didnt fix.
Now adays though, the JJOS gets the 2500 to do what its capable of.
You know, stuff like ring modulation, bit reduction, the way advanced chopping features and the mono/stereo conversion. Those are just the few of the new and great features the JJOS has nowadays.
