I also love my mpc 500 but highly irritate me the fact that 500 don't have chopping function. Can tell me more specific how you connetct your mpc with nuendo and how you chop beats on it?

I ordered the recommended case logic bag from Ritz camera but it hasn't come yet.

I saw this case yesterday at a Queens, NY Target (New Yorkers take the R train to Grand/Newtown) for $9.99. It is a "PDVD Case" as per the tag and comes with a free lanyard. For the price and because it seems like a cool bag regardless, I picked one up and it fits the mpc500 nicely.

It is available in green with a wolf (as shown), navy blue with an owl and in red with a bunny on it. This is a lightweight, lightly padded bag that make a great sleeve to carry in another bag or as a light duty carry case. With the MPC 500 inside there is some space on top where you can squeeze in audio cables and/or earbuds. See the pics below.

I got the case logic one and the Animal one from Europe. The case logic one fits it perfectly but like the dude in NY said, you have to buy it on Amazon. The Animal one from Europe is tight. It's cool from taking in and out of the studio. It looks hiphop! I'm not tryin to get a large laptop case, the carry type so that i can fit a laptop, mpc500, small mixer and a midi controller all in so that i can make beats where ever. Anyone else do that? Got any suggestions? holla back.

I think I saw the case logic case in a store in town, I actually have a hand made bag for my MPC500 made by my mom

Anyway, I had to send back my MPC to the store for repairs... so I only have a bag and no MPC...
