Beats through the mail

Whats up mpc fam?.... I have the mpc 4000 and the yamaha aw4416 at my crib in VA. I have a friend in new orleans that need some tracks............My question is how do I send those tracks to him so he can record his vocal on the tracks, does this has something to do with sending my beats on a cd-rw or what...........

nah yo. Im just ***** wit you. I would send them on a CD-R or send him an MP3 and get him to get a mic and record himself then send the accepella back to me and i would finish it.

Yep, just send him a disc or MP3 and let him lay down the vocals and send the accapellas back to you so you can track out the beat and mix it around the vocals

mp3 or wav. just email it to him w/ an attachment. I think you can do this with some IM's aswell. quicker this way. instant gratification.

Yeah, MP3 works. I have emailed beats before, that is how the Neptunes cross-produce when Pharrell is away and chad is at home.

If you have some serious broadband, you can set up a ftp server on one of the boxes and transfer noncompressed files between eachother.

send it mp3 unless he gonna record and mix it down at his house
in that case send a wav file
