squelchy distortion on main outs/heaphones!

i installed os v1.23 today and everything seemed to be great, then after unplugging the mpc and plugging it back in again, i started getting distortion on the main/headphone outs. and now it won't go away. i reistalled the OS, and reset the factory settings, still distorting. it kinda sounds like bit crashing distortion.

anybody ever experience this?

im sure u have checked but wats the main volume on? i mean the volume in "other" mode,
i had that up to loud once, which caused distortion like u talk of

OH SH*T! to isolate the problem i just installed jj os 3.06 and the distortion is gone. must be something buggy in the akai v1.23.

whew.
i was afraid it was a hardware problem.

i checked the "other" volume and the distortion became more pronounced the lower i set it. i mean that as the over all volume got quieter the distortion basically stayed the same volume so it was more apparent relative to the beats and what not.

ok, so just to follow up in case anyone else runs into this...
after realizing that it was a problem with os v1.23 i re-downloaded it from akaipro.com.
i then installed that new new os v1.23 and my shit's working fine. no distortion.

although i gotta say, jj os is pretty **** cool. i think i'll try my luck with it for awhile.
