A Question on Hi-Tek Using a MPC 3000, (Video Inside)

I found this video of hi tek working on a 3000 and im curious to exactly what he did to the sample, so i dont know the button methods but he seemed to lower the pitch, is that all he did? it seemed like he was taping tempo

that would sound crazy with drums underneath it

I am guessing but i think he was filtering it first , then he pitched it. and then used tap tempo to get it to fit.

All he did was put the sample across the pads, when u are in the program mode, it takes the sample and stretches it out, the tempo shifts with the pitch, higher pitch is faster tempo and vice versa, i do it all the time with my asr and mp

this vid is totally worthless.
