the use of pitch shift and the mpc jj os version of it..

i'm rockin wit the 3.07 version, since i can't afford the $20 right now..

but i see its got a lot of different pitch versions on it.. i done tried them all wit mixed results..

wanted to get yalls feedback on em, see which ones "work" best...and all that, like which one's yall be usin the most..



2nd part of my questions is this..

if you have sample thats 20 seconds, the 1st ten of it is the sample u want to loop and drop bomb's over.. and the remainin ten is the vocal sample u want to flip..

if you pitch shift ONE you pretty much have to do the other right? thing is like i want to apply the chipmunk effect to the vocal sample. but then the "beat" sample will be off..

what do you all do in this situation?

i'd make a copy and pitch that and resample the whole thing.
